Built by Ranchers
Ori Cattle was born from frustration with expensive, complicated systems that didn't work. We set out to build something different.

Our Story
In the bitter cold of a Saskatchewan winter night, watching over a calving cow, our founder realized there had to be a better way. Traditional ear tags couldn't tell you when a cow was about to calve. None of the available solutions were built for real ranch conditions—so we decided to build the system we wished existed.
We partnered with Ori Technologies, a leader in emotional AI and behavioral analysis, to bring enterprise-grade machine learning to livestock management. The result is a tag that's rugged enough for Saskatchewan winters and smart enough to predict calving 48 hours in advance.
Today, Ori Cattle is helping ranchers across North America reduce calf mortality, improve breeding success, and spend less time worrying.
We're still a small team based in Saskatchewan, still run by people who
check their own cattle every morning.

Principles
Our Values
These principles guide every decision we make.
Rancher First
Every decision we make starts with one question: Does this help ranchers? Our team includes active ranch families who understand the challenges firsthand.
Community Driven
We build with ranchers, not for them. Our early adopters and production partners directly influence product development and feature prioritization.
Innovation with Purpose
Technology for technology's sake doesn't interest us. We only build features that solve real ranch problems and deliver measurable ROI.
Built to Last
Our tags are designed for a lifetime of use. No planned obsolescence, no forced upgrades. Just reliable, reusable technology that works.
Foundations
Our Foundation
A unique combination of ranching experience and cutting-edge technology.
Founded by Ranch Families
Started in 2023 by fourth-generation ranchers who were tired of expensive, complicated tracking systems that didn't work in real ranch conditions.
Backed by Ori Technologies
Leveraging enterprise-grade AI and machine learning infrastructure to bring cutting-edge insights to livestock management.
Tested in the Harshest Conditions
Every tag undergoes rigorous testing in -40°C winters, scorching summers, mud, water, and everything in between.
